The Baltimore Ravens traded down from the eighth pick overall to Jacksonville's 26th overall slot. Their thinking appears to indicate that with Matt Ryan off the board they will trade down and select one of the lower rated quarterbacks. That proved to be accurate as the Ravens later traded up to 18th overall to select QB Joe Flacco from Delaware.

Ravens Quarterback Steve McNair has announced his retirement today after 13 seasons in the NFL, 11 with the Oilers/Titans and 2 with the Ravens. "It was a difficult decision, in your mind you feel like you can compete, but the battle between your mind and body is not going to work in the NFL." When asked about his career Steve Quoted, "I wouldn't Change a thing!"
