Coming off Two Straight 3A/4A State Championships, the Falcons are off to another Hot start after defeating Gonzaga of the WCAC 12-7. This was quite the performance for a team that lost 22 seniors to graduation, and they were led by the comeback of Senior Midfielder Pat Morrison. Pat took off his Junior year to focus on Football Training and Recruiting, but came back with a surge tonight with ; netting 4 goals! Pat will be playing Defensive Back at Wagner University! Pat was the QB for the Football team, and his backup QB and future Starter Sam Jones also played great, tallying a goal and 4 assists. Anne Arundel County Defensive Football Player of the Year (Baltimore Sun), Sean Price also netted four goals and had an assist. I guess more football players should be playing lacrosse! Severna Park also recieved an all star performance from their Goalie Andrew Gvozden, who has committed to Hofstra! He had 13 saves while sharing the net minding duties with Jeff Lowman! Jeff Lowman (JR.) tallied 4 saves, and he will be playing college ball at St. John's! Sophomore Attackmen Kyle Zorn also scored twice for the Falcons. Gonzaga was led by Shane Elie who scored 4 times for the Eagles. Severna Park will play Bullis Tomorrow at 7pm, and Gonzaga will play Annapolis at 5pm.
