Any football geek will tell you that the best part of the NFL season is the time between week 1 and the Super Bowl (Pro Bowl excluded...don't ask). However, if you ask said football geek what the second best part of the NFL is he/she would most certainly always answer "The Draft". Guys like Mel Kiper, Todd McShay, and Mike Mayock have turned mock drafts and predictions into a craze. I'm not going to lie, if I could get paid to scout college talent that was entering the NFL draft and then talk about it on TV I would die a happy man.

Alumni Report: Local Standouts, NFL Week 4

Unfortunately for the Ravens, they suffered their first loss in a controversial 27-21 loss to the Patriots. Roosevelt's Jared Gaither gave us a very scary moment as he was carted off the field with a neck injury, but he appears to be fine, and may even play this week. Sean Springs had a big day for the Patriot defense

Steelers 13, Titans 10

If Vincent Fuller (Woodlawn) wasn't already popular in Baltimore, he would have been even more popular if his Tennessee Titans pulled it out Thursday night vs. the Steelers, but they lost 13-10 . Fuller had an interception, a Pass deflection, 3 tackles, a tackle for a loss, and helped cause a Hines Ward last minute fumble.

The NFL is great, and probably the best run organization in sports, but there is one thing it is truly missing... Big Rivalries, especially regional ones. The NFL doesn't have the Iron Bowl, the Civil War, Ohio State Michigan, Yankees Red Sox, Duke Unc. Instead of playing two random games in your conference, they should allow you to play a rivalry game every year. Or if they want to add a 17th game, this would be the perfect team to do. These should be the proposed matchups.
