Guthrie pitched very well despite giving up 2 runs. But because of his pitching performance it kept the Orioles in the game! The Orioles bats were kept silent during the first 8 innings of the game, but when the 9th inning came so did the O’s bat! The Orioles did it the old fashion way by stealing bases, advancing runners and hitting the balls into the gaps! The First Place Orioles are sitting pretty and look awesome, a great way to start the season!
