While many Orioles fans are enjoying the nice start, We have been through this before and always feel like it will be taken away from us, and The Ravens will be the Headliners in July! Three years ago they were in first place the till about the All Star Break, and then completely embarrassed us by finishing the season with scandals and another terrible record and fourth place finish.

I definitely feel like the Orioles finally have a plan, and more young talent in Baltimore and in the minors than they have had in a long time. It will take patience, but you have to be happy with the young outfield of Jones, Markakis, and Luke Scott! Matt Wieters is Destroying it in the minors, and we have lots of great arms in the minors.

To say most O's fans would like to see Mark Teixiera in Orange and Black next year would be an understatement. If the Orioles can show improvement, and stay competitive, I think they will get it done. Tex has hinted he would love to come here, and lets face it, it would be disrespectful to his current employers to express this in full. As someone who is his same age, and grew up playing in the same Rec Baseball leagues as him, and grew up watching the Cal Ripken Era of Orioles Baseball which included the highest Attendance in Baseball for 7 straight years , it is every local baseball players dream from to come to the O's and win. He could be the final piece to the future puzzle.
